O'Day Flying Saucer
The O'Day Flying Saucer was built by O'Day from 1967 to 1970. There were approximately 267 of these built. The original marketing material indicates that the boat would plane in 12 knots of air. She clearly was ahead of her time.![]() |

As a child I always admired these boats. My dad got a magazine every year called the Sailboat directory. From the pictures and descriptions of this I love them. Happy to report that I was able to purchase one in the last few weeks. She is a pleasure to sail!
